BMW chose Terminal Loud Pictures as the production company for the global launch of its new concept car. This futuristic vehicle, focusing on safety and sustainability, represents a radical shift in the design of classic automobiles.
A crucial element for the project’s success was the selection of locations. Leveraging the expertise and connections of Terminal’s location managers, over 60 locations were proposed, including villas, streets, and lakes, all perfectly suited for the production with easy access and ample space for equipment. The beauty, uniqueness, and Italian charm of the selected locations added invaluable value to the project.
The location selection process involved three days of intense scouting across Italian villas and streets, during which department heads chose the optimal site. Ultimately, a historic villa in Milan and the stunning Lake Garda were selected as the primary sets, providing breathtaking backdrops that enhanced BMW’s vision for its new concept car.

On set, a top Italian stylist, renowned across Europe, curated the looks using high-end garments from famous Italian brands such as Versace, Gucci, and Armani. These outfits contributed to creating a sophisticated and visually impactful image.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Terminal Loud Pictures has established strong relationships with major Italian equipment rental companies, ensuring access to the best equipment available. The cast selection was equally precise; thanks to the fashion and film hubs of Rome and Milan, a diverse and international cast was assembled, perfectly aligning with BMW’s brief.
A platform was custom-built to support the car’s weight during the process. The set featured an experienced crew, with years of experience in shooting and commercial production. The key grip team independently managed a technocrane, with a dedicated operator handling the flyhead remotely, allowing for the smooth movements requested by the director of photography.

Terminal Loud Pictures oversaw every department with dedicated producers, ensuring a flawless workflow. A team of gaffers and electricians managed the set, anticipating the director of photography’s needs, while the art department addressed issues and designed the set, including planting Sicilian lemon and orange trees to enhance the vision of an Italian summer.
The collaboration with BMW was marked by mutual support and constant synergy, resulting in a final product that not only meets but exceeds expectations. Terminal Loud Pictures once again demonstrated its professionalism, conveying confidence and expertise at every stage of production.
Thanks to Terminal Loud Pictures, BMW was able to transform its futuristic vision into an engaging and captivating visual reality, poised to make a significant impact in the automotive world.
