Marco Mucig is a filmmaker exploring visual and narrative storytelling – always with authenticity at its core.
He wrote and directed the short film Family First, selected at the Amsterdam LGBTQ Film Festival and Manchester International Short Film Festival. With the short The Life Before he entered the shortlist of the Berlin Commercial Awards 2020, where he won in the category of best costumes with the short Un anno fa. The commercial Pleased to Meet You earned the nomination of Best Creative Concept at the La Jolla Fashion Film Awards, and the official selection at the Fashion Film Festival in Milan.
So far he has been working with clients such as Nike, The New York Times Magazine, Paul Smith, De Padova, Saucony, Timberland, Tod’s, Ferrari.
His work has been featured on Booooooom, i-D, Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, Motionographer, It’s Nice That, Desillusion, Boing Boing and selected by developing programs like TorinoFilmLab, SeriesMania Writer’s Campus and Biennale College Cinema.
He’s currently developing Anno Zero, his debut feature film, with Levante Produzioni (Italy).
