Lars Blumers - Terminal LoudPictures

Lars Blumers wanted to become a professional surfer and moved to Australia at the age of 16, but then he got sidetracked into writing and directing. He attended Filmschool at Columbia University in New York and since then has shot numerous successful short films (Predateurs Domestiques, Carjacking) and commercials for clients such as Wilkinson, Playstation, L’Oréal, Hollywood, which have earned him many prizes including a bronze Cyberlion for Wilkinson “Dare“ in Cannes. A subtle observer of man’s craziness and tics, Paris-based filmmaker and screenwriter Lars Blumers stands out for his ability to couple a sharp sense of irony and a rare ability to quickly draw the psychology of his funny characters, without yet forgoing continuous care of the esthetical qualities of his work.
