Alex was born on December the 5th 1972 in Nuremberg, Germany.
In 1991 he started studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg – he never finished his studies because of the great opportunity he got from Adidas: he started his career as a designer. Since1997 he works in the Broadcast and Media Industry as Designer, Director and Post Production Supervisor. Currently, he is working in Dubai as the Executive Creative Director and Head of Design for MBC GROUP, the largest pan-Arabic TV private TV Network.
During the last 11 years, he won more than 50 international awards for Branding/Design and Directing. (Gold at BDA – Broadcast Designers Association) and gold at Eyes and Ears of Europe for “witching hour ident” for 13th Street Germany. BDA Gold World for MBC1 (best indents, concept and branding). BDA/ Promax Gold World in New York for MBC2 Thrill Night ident (best ident, best directing) and BDA Gold for MBC4 Idents (overall design, concept and branding).
